California Quail Greeting Cards

The California Quail can be seen as far north as Vancouver Island in Canada. In fact, they are regular visitors to our garden and I often get a front row view from my studio window. The male assumes a look-out position on a fence or roof-top to enable him to warn his mate and young ones of possible danger while they are foraging for seeds on the ground.
